Report format change: Traditional markets refer to lambs that are subjected to USDA carcass grading, and marketed through mainstream outlets. Non-Traditional markets refer to lambs destined for slaughter outside of what would be termed as traditional markets.
 
Sheep and Lambs: When compared to last week, slaughter lambs sold mostly 10.00-20.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter ewes traded mostly 10.00-20.00 higher on good demand. Slaughter supply consisted of 78 percent lambs, 17 percent slaughter ewes, and 5 percent miscellaneous stock. All sheep and lambs are destined for non-traditional markets. All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundred weight,on actual weights.

Slaughter Goats: When compared to last week, slaughter kid goats sold mostly 10.00-20.00 higher on a very light test. Nanny goats sold 20.00-30.00 higher on a very light test. Slaughter billies sold mostly steady to 10.00 higher. Demand was good for all classes. Slaughter supply consisted of 58 percent Slaughter Kids, 13 percent Slaughter Nannies, and 24 percent bucks/billies and wethers. All Goats are sold by the head on estimated weights.       
Slaughter Kids: Selection 1  40-60 lbs 122.00-156.00; 60-80 lbs 153.00-184.00; 90-100 lbs 170.00-190.00. Selection 2 50-70 lbs 126.00-128.00; 75 lbs 140.00-162.00; 90-100 lbs 142.00-160.00.   
Slaughter Nannies/Does: Selection 1  110-140 lbs 160.00-192.00. Selection 2  100-110 lbs 117.00-157.00.
