Cattle supply included: 155 steers and heifers, 82 cows, 9 bulls, and 81 feeder cattle.

 

Compared to last week’s sale, slaughter steers and heifers sold 1.00 to 2.00 higher. Slaughter Holsteins sold mostly 1.00 higher. Slaughter cows sold unevenly steady, lean cows sold steady to firm while fleshier cows sold steady to weak.

Sheep and Lambs: No trend available for slaughter sheep and lambs due to last week’s limited supply, but a firm undertone was noted. Demand good with active trade. All sheep and lambs are sold by the hundred weight, on actual weights.
