Cattle supply included: 119 steers and heifers, 92 cows, 17 bulls and 78 feeder cattle.

Compared to last week’s sale, slaughter steers sold steady to weak. Slaughter Holstein steers sold weak to 1.00 lower. A light supply of slaughter heifers sold 2.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold steady to 1.00 higher. Feeder calves sold mostly 5.00 to 10.00 higher. All prices per cwt.

Sheep and Lambs: Compared to last Monday, a heavy supply of slaughter lambs sold 2.00 to 5.00 lower, lambs weighing heavier than 90 lbs sold mostly 8.00 lower on less attractive offerings. Slaughter ewes sold 6.00 to 8.00 higher.

Slaughter Goats: Compared to last Monday, slaughter kids sold 2.00 to 4.00 lower with exception of kids weighing over 80 lbs trending steady to firm.

Slaughter nannies sold mostly 3.00 lower. Slaughter billies sold 5.00 to 7.00 lower. Demand varied throughout the sale, trade moderate to slow. Goat supply consisted of 69 percent slaughter kids, 22 percent slaughter nannies, 7 percent slaughter billies, remainder miscellaneous stock. All goats are sold by the head, on estimated weights.
